An organization that offers homeless outreach services, mental health services on-site at community shelters and resource centers. Major activities include outreach, engagement, needs assessment, and linkage to resources. Ongoing case management and assistance is offered to formerly homeless individuals who are living independently in order to help them achieve and maintain self-sufficiency.

NAMI-MD provides information and referrals, family support, education, and advocacy. They offer a support group once a month for family members of the mentally ill, and a 12-week Family-to-Family class.

NAMI-Metropolitan Baltimore provides advocacy for family members of persons with mental illness and consumers of mental health services, educational programs for consumers and their family members, and peer support groups for those family members or persons with mental illness. We welcome volunteers for in-office and out-of-office support.

NAMI-Cecil County holds support meetings on the 1st Monday of each month, and educational meetings on the 3rd Monday of each month. The meetings are oriented toward families of consumers, although everyone is welcome.
